This is a very striking image Jade. I love that you've physically manipulated the photographic image as a material and then considered how to photograph it. Your use of the black background is a good decision, giving it a clear and bold background has made the 3D nature of it stand out
This is a really beautiful image jade and and the materialisation of the printed portrait is really effective. It has a lovely sculptural property but also is very powerful as a photograph as well. The expression pocesses a sense of conviction while the use of the printed paper brings a fragile element to the image. lots of interesting things happening here, really lovely work.
